Sometimes helping someone when that happens can be really easy. Other times you might just make things worse, without even realizing it.

You're rather bright, aren't you? [ her voice is soft for a moment ] I've never felt worry for people that I haven't known or housed before, but — will you be alright? Is there something I could do to help? I'm not so terribly fond of someone who seems so clever being upset.

Thank you, but...I don't think there is. I'm not the only one having nightmares like this, so I think there's more to it that we can't see.

I've seen too many things going wrong. I'm not gonna let the the people I've met here suffer like this. Not if there's anything I can do about it.
